Job Title: Electrical Technician** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. This role involves working on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for building custom equipment or machinery, running electrical conduit, and installing electrical wiring and assembly. A strong electrical aptitude and skills are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
+ Work with production and engineering teams to ensure system specifications are met.
+ Read and comprehend process flow and engineering schematics.
+ Build panels and install control wiring for AC from 24 to 480 volts single and three-phase, and DC including signal loops.
+ Perform soldering of wiring, assembling, and pulling wiring harnesses.
+ Layout, cut, and install conduits and raceways.
+ Layout, cut, thread, and connect rigid conduits to functional components.
+ Layout, bend, and install EMT and flexible conduit to process equipment.
+ Mount components and assemble structural and functional systems.
+ Verify electrical functionality of assembled machinery.
+ Follow safety policies and practice 5S and Lean methodologies.
+ Travel occasionally as required.
+ Perform other duties as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Strong electrical aptitude and skills.
+ Experience in building custom equipment or machinery.
+ Experience in running electrical conduit.
+ Proficiency in reading prints, wiring control panels, and running conduit.
+ Comfortable working with AC from 24 to 480 volts single and three-phase, as well as DC including signal loops.
+ Proficient in using electrical meters and electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and mechanical abilities.
+ Mechanical inclination and general building ability.
+ Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
+ Ability to work independently, with direction, and in groups.
+ Willingness to grow and learn.
+ Knowledge of PLCs is a plus.
+ 2-4 years of technical school training is a plus.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment involving hands-on work with tools and testing equipment. It includes physical activities such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. There is an opportunity to work overtime and occasional, short-term domestic travel. The work setting is friendly, family-oriented, temperate-controlled, clean, and organized.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
