    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to perform mechanical and electrical assembly of overhead crane units. The role requires working off of blueprints and involves precise measuring tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of overhead crane units.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.

    + Utilize hand tools for assembly tasks.

    + Conduct panel wiring and ensure proper wiring installation.

    + Maintain quality standards and safety protocols during assembly.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.

    + Proficiency in measuring with accuracy down to 1/16th of an inch.

    + Experience with assembly, hand tools, blueprint interpretation, and schematic reading.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in both mechanical and electrical assembly is preferred.

    + General labor skills and a strong understanding of electrical components.

    Work Environment

    The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with 9-hour workdays over the last 2-3 years. The work environment is a clean facility with ample opportunities for overtime.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
