    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist who will play a crucial role in our logistics operations. You will be responsible for receiving and verifying incoming parts, maintaining stock areas, packaging and preparing materials for shipment, and loading outgoing shipments onto trucks. Additionally, you will provide general support to production areas to ensure smooth workflow.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and verify incoming parts for accuracy and quality.

    + Maintain organized stock areas for efficient inventory management.

    + Package and prepare materials for shipment according to company standards.

    + Load outgoing shipments onto trucks with attention to detail and care.

    + Provide general support to production areas to facilitate seamless operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in forklift operation with at least 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience.

    + Experience in inventory control and order selection.

    + Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes including bill of lading documentation.

    + Experience using SAP for inventory and shipping management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 1 year or more of recent shipping and receiving experience.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Work Environment

    The work environment resembles a small mechanic shop with a smaller building, offering a cozy and focused setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, providing a consistent workweek.

    This is a Contract position based out of Waukesha, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
