    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team on the 1st shift. This role requires a strong emphasis on the shipping aspect of the business and involves a blend of hands-on and supervisory responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.

    + Direct movement of materials from shipping area to staging area.

    + Study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet deadlines.

    + Develop work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.

    + Arrange transportation according to customer instructions and standards.

    + Ensure the shipping area is organized, clean, and meets all compliance requirements.

    + Conduct training, development, and performance-monitoring activities for each employee in the department.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of shipping and receiving supervisor experience.

    + Proficient in process improvement, supervision, computer skills, ERP, shipping and receiving, warehouse management, safety, and continuous improvement.

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma is required.

    + Bachelor's degree is preferred.

    + Forklift license or certification.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean, bright, and located in a brand new building with a state-of-the-art breakroom, lobby, and offices. The production floor is organized, spacious, well-lit, clean, and temperature-controlled. The 1st shift hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility required for potential overtime.

    This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

    Benefits:

    BC/BS for Healthcare and MetLife for the rest. 10 paid holidays, vacation pro-rated in the first year and our 401K offers entry at the first of each quarter with Company matching funds (60% of the first 6% of contribution) after 1-year of employment (for active Plan participants). There is a 5-year vesting period for the matching funds only.

     

    MCC pays the full monthly premiums for STD AND LTD for every MCC EE.
