    Job Title: Industrial Electrician** **Job Description

     

    The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and control panels. This role requires an extensive knowledge of electrical motor controls, as well as a thorough understanding of electrical safety codes and regulations. The position supports the operations group in the shop and reports directly to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, repair, and maintain electrical components on industrial equipment.

    + Install conduits and cables, ensuring installations comply with electrical codes.

    + Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.

    + Inspect electrical systems to determine the need for repairs.

    + Replace conduit, wiring, and electrical components as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Extensive knowledge of electrical motor controls.

    + Knowledge of 208V and 480V (Delta) 3 phase systems, motor control, and electrical theory.

    + Understanding of electrical codes, trade practices, and low voltage controls.

    + Troubleshooting and repair skills for AC and DC drives and controls, instrumentation, and basic calibrations.

    + Ability to wire integrated systems from advanced wiring schematics.

    + Basic PC skills.

    + Ability to work safely on any equipment in the plant.

    + High school diploma or GED, completion of a formal apprenticeship, or a valid electrician’s license.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Currently employed as an Electrician in a manufacturing facility.

    + Ability to use basic test equipment.

    + Adherence to defense industry’s initiatives on business ethics and conduct with respect to fraud, waste, and abuse.

    + Meeting compliance requirements of Pursuit Aerospace Business Conduct Guidelines as applicable to this position.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $79040.00/yr.
