Palliative Care Physician
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC)** **Burlington, MA, United States
• The Opportunity
The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a **board certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician** to join our interdisciplinary team.
This role is key to our clinical, educational, and quality improvement missions.
• What You Will Do
+ Provide **inpatient and outpatient consultation services** within Lahey’s academic medical center.
+ Collaborate with our **interdisciplinary team** .
+ Commit to promoting **quality care transitions** .
• Program & Educational Focus
+ LHMC is affiliated with the **University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School** .
+ Our division hosts an **ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship** .
+ **Professional Development:** We support candidates' interests with available clinical, educational, and academic opportunities.
+ **Preferred:** Interest and experience in **medical education and program development** .
+ **Academic Appointment:** Opportunity for an academic appointment with the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine (commensurate with achievement).
• Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates **must** meet the following:
+ Completed **Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship** training by hire date, or demonstrate comparable experience.
+ Board certified/eligible in Palliative Medicine.
+ Demonstrate passion for clinical palliative care.

Pay Range:
$220,000.00 USD - $240,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
