The Production Control Clerk must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective execution of the function. The Production Control Clerk must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized. May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
+ Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
+ Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
+ Additional tasks include writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
+ This Clerk also sorts and distributes work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee timecards and post data on records used for preparation of payroll.
+ Monitor equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders, coordinating the transfer of equipment to the repair shop, and ensuring proper receipt once repairs are completed.
Qualifications
+ Must have GCSS-A experience.
+ Must have the ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
+ Must have the ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
+ Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
+ Must have the physical capability to lift 60 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
+ GCSS-A Certification.
+ 2-3 years production control experience.
+ Must have a Real ID.
+ Must have a valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurance.
+ U.S. Army 92-series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.
+ Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Skills.
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to)
+ the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
+ Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
