    The Role

GSI is seeking a high-caliber Business Systems Analyst to serve as the functional and technical owner of our B2W (Bid2Win) platform (Estimating, Track, Project Management) and its integrations with upstream job setup (Zendesk today > Salesforce.com in flight) and downstream ERP workflows in Viewpoint Vista.

This role is built for a candidate with exceptional intellectual horsepower, systems thinking, and operational discipline - someone who can elevate how data flows across our business, shape process excellence, and improve the speed, accuracy, and reliability of mission-critical workflows.

Success in this role means eliminating friction, increasing adoption, and enabling our Estimating, Project Management, and Field teams to execute with greater velocity and precision. Top performers in this seat have the runway to grow into senior systems leadership as GSI scales.

    Responsibilities

    Application Ownership & Production Stability

+ Act as the primary SME for B2W Estimating, Track, and Project Management.

+ Deliver Tier 2/3 support with urgency and precision: rapid triage, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation.

+ Own the incident response cycle: isolation, workaround design, vendor escalation, documentation, and communication.

+ Manage the support queue with discipline: establish priorities, detect patterns, and eliminate recurring defects at the root.

    Business Analysis & Enhancement Leadership

+ Partner deeply with Estimating, Operations, PMs, and Field leadership to translate business needs into crisp requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.

+ Maintain a prioritized enhancement roadmap aligned to business value.

+ Lead release cycles including UAT, cutover, communication, and post-release validation.

+ Consistently champion measurable outcomes: reduced rework, cleaner data, faster job starts, improved adoption.

Integrations & End-to-End Data Flow Ownership

+ Own the functional understanding of data traveling across:

    + Zendesk > Salesforce.com (job setup)

    + B2W Estimating / Track / PM

    + Viewpoint Vista ERP

+ Partner with IT and vendors to:

+ Monitor and harden integration health (API, flat file, SFTP, middleware).

+ Validate data mappings (jobs, cost codes, phases, users, labor/equipment).

+ Eliminate sync timing issues, duplicates, misalignments, and data quality defects.

+ Lead the functional side of GSI’s CRM transition to Salesforce.com, ensuring mapping accuracy, testing rigor, and cutover readiness.

    Security, Configuration & Governance

+ Maintain clean, scalable standards for roles, permissions, user provisioning, and reference data.

+ Govern master data (cost codes, job attributes, templates) to support consistent operational reporting.

+ Document SOPs and controls that protect data integrity and reduce operational variance.

    Training, Adoption & Change Leadership

+ Deliver high-clarity onboarding and recurring training for estimators, PMs, and field users.

+ Produce durable training assets (guides, SOPs, checklists) that reinforce “how we do it here.”

+ Build and sustain a network of power users across the company to drive consistency and elevate data quality.

+ Drive adoption through persuasion, clarity, and measurable improvement—not force.

    Vendor & Stakeholder Management

+ Serve as GSI’s primary point of contact for B2W support, escalations, and product updates.

+ Align closely with Vista/ERP stakeholders and CRM owners to ensure frictionless, end-to-end workflows.

+ Communicate upcoming changes, outages, and system capabilities in plain, operationally relevant language.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree

+ 3+ years supporting enterprise applications in a business-facing capacity (construction systems preferred).

+ Demonstrated experience managing production support, structured triage, and vendor escalation.

+ Experience with cross-system integrations, mapping, and troubleshooting.

+ Strong documentation discipline and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.

+ Ability to prioritize decisively and operate with urgency in production environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

+ Hands-on experience with B2W Estimating, Track, and/or Project Management.

+ Experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar construction ERP; understanding of cost/time/job workflows.

+ Experience supporting CRM-driven job setup processes; Salesforce.com experience is a significant advantage.

+ Comfort with basic SQL and cross-system data validation

    Core Competencies

+ Systems thinker:quickly understands relationships between tools, workflows, and data.

+ Root-cause problem solver:resists band-aids and focuses on permanent fixes.

+ Calm under pressure: particularly during outages or payroll/time-critical issues.

+ Clear, concise communicator:bridge the gap between the field and technical teams.

+ Process-driven operator:high standards for quality, clarity, and data integrity.

+ Ownership mindset:acts with urgency, raises the bar, and earns trust across the organization.
