Job Title: Senior AccountantJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will post journal entries, maintain general ledger integrity, and contribute to the preparation of SEC filings and other regulatory reports. Additionally, the role involves supporting foreign statutory audits and conducting variance analysis to aid business decisions.
Responsibilities
+ Execute month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
+ Post journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
+ Contribute to the preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and other regulatory reports, including preparing schedules for footnotes and responding to audit queries.
+ Assist in the coordination and execution of foreign statutory audits by providing documentation and resolving auditor inquiries.
+ Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and support business decisions.
+ Clean up and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies across financial statements and sub-ledgers.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.
+ Assist management in SOX compliance.
+ Engage in ad hoc projects as needed.
+ Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to work with large datasets, pivot tables, and lookups.
Essential Skills
+ Strong proficiency in Excel, including working with large datasets, pivot tables, and lookups.
+ Experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance, particularly in SEC filings and SOX compliance.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting variance analysis and resolving discrepancies.
+ Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance and journal entry posting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence for three days a week. This setup allows for a balance of collaborative team interactions and independent work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
