• Platform Engineer

    TEKsystems (Phoenix, AZ)


    We are seeking a Platform Engineer to help build and scale our Kubernetes-based infrastructure. This role is 100% remote and involves designing and implementing cloud-native solutions, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring observability across systems. You’ll work closely with our engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable platforms that support edge computing and CI/CD workflows.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure.

    + Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

    + Collaborate on cloud deployments.

    + Develop and optimize monitoring dashboards.

    + Support edge computing initiatives, including building and shipping container images to distributed environments.

    + Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions).

    Preferred Skills & Experience:

    + Strong experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.

    + Cloud expertise (AWS highly preferred; other cloud platforms acceptable).

    + Familiarity with Grafana is a PLUS.

    + Programming experience with Golang or Python.

    + Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and event-driven architectures.

    + Exposure to databases (Postgres, DynamoDB) and messaging systems (NATS).

    + Understanding of CI/CD workflows and tools.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
