    Work hours: Full Time 40 hours a week. Rotating schedule.

    Here's What You Need

    + H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And

    + Associate's Degree Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field is preferred

    + 2 Years security, law enforcement, or military police is preferred and

    + 2 Years healthcare or education is preferred

    + DL - Drivers License Class C and insurable Upon Hire is required And

    + ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required And

    + CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 Strongly preferred.

    + NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 Days is required And

    + CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 Days is required And

    + TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 Days is required

    + Ability to make independent decisions with tact and mature/positive attitude. ability to assume responsibilities. Ability to be cooperative, discreet and courteous within scope of assigned authority.

    + Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people.

    + Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation.

    What You Will Do

    + Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.

    + Locks and opens doors according to schedules.

    + Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.

    + Provides onsite uniformed presence, as needed, for buildings experiencing imminent threats.

    + Provides transport/and escorts to and from campus parking lots
