Senior Financial Analyst PPCJP00000470 * Hourly pay: $50/hr * Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Onsite) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 3-6 Month Assignment, Possibility for extension/conversion A leading digital streaming network seeks a Senior Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for journal entries, reporting, reconciliation, and budgeting. Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities: * Populate monthly financial reporting schedules and provide to planning. * Analyze actuals vs. forecast (Budget / Estimate) and explain fluctuations. * Analyze fringe balances and prepare quarterly fringe accruals based on the latest estimates. * Prepare annual multi-employer pension project and corporate cost allocations. * Prepare and park monthly and quarterly journal entries and accruals as required. * Reconcile the balance sheet accounts related to overhead. * Balance of financial systems. * Validate Quarterly and YTD Earnings Books. * Prepare Quarterly Balance Sheet File for Planning Team. Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications: * 2+ years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, reporting, and month-end close in a deadline-driven environment. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; degrees in Finance or Economics accepted with relevant accounting experience in the areas listed above. * Strong (and current) technical knowledge of US GAAP is preferred. * Intermediate-Advanced skills in Excel. * Proficiency in MS Word. * Experience in the Entertainment Industry is preferred. * Experience with Hyperion (Essbase/Smartview), Oracle, and SAP is desired. * Industry experience is preferred. Shift: * 9 am- 6 pm. * Must be willing to work 10 - 12-hour days during the quarter close period to meet deadlines.
