    As a Staff Engineer and key architectural leader in PDX- Development Experience Ecosystem(DEE) group, you will define the long-term technical vision and drive the AI and agentic platform strategy for Intuit's development ecosystem for External Dev Portal. Your main role is building the comprehensive, end-to-end platform (infrastructure, data, and tooling) to seamlessly integrate Generative AI and multi-agent systems into the product development lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    + Architectural & Technical Leadership: Proven track record in solving highly complex, cross-cutting technical problems and establishing technical direction.

    + Design for Extensibility: Leads architectural design for complex systems, effectively balancing technical debt with immediate business needs and designing for long-term extensibility.

    + Driving Engineering Standards: Expertise in defining and enforcing clear coding principles, engineering standards, and testing strategies across diverse codebases.

    + AI/GenAI Integration: Deep familiarity with AI principles, including building and integrating end-to-end AI solutions adhering to AI-Native principles.

    + Strategic Execution: Executes highly complex, strategic initiatives, proactively resolving deeply embedded systemic impediments and architectural shortcomings.

    + Adaptable Planning: Accelerates delivery by discerning between foundational decisions and reversible problems, ensuring quick value delivery on complex roadmaps.

    + Product Influence: Identifies strategic unmet customer needs and influences product direction beyond the immediate team scope through deep market research.

    + Business Acumen: Shapes product and business strategy by connecting customer problems to market trends and expertly managing quality trade-offs.

    + Organizational Impact: Significantly accelerates productivity and raises the bar on engineering quality across multiple teams (10-20 individuals).

    + Mentorship & Improvement: Guides and mentors other technical leaders, driving the resolution of systemic technical, tool, or communication gaps to boost organizational productivity.

    Qualifications

    + BS/MS in Computer Science or related.

    + 8+ years developing systems/software (Java, J2EE).

    + 2+ years designing complex distributed systems or applications.

    + Full-stack experience applying AI technologies/tools (SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python) to solutions.

    + 1+ years building AI-native applications.

    + Demonstrated experience with generative AI models and frameworks, and deploying AI-powered solutions.

    + Experience with one of: Front-end (React, Angular) **OR** **Back-end (Java, Spring,).**

    + Prior cloud computing (AWS/GCP) experience highly desired.

    + Agentic Mindset, strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Strong mentoring skills; influences technical and non-technical people.

    + Team player; collaborates effectively with cross-functional and global teams (across time zones).

    + Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.

    + Excellent, persuasive communication to all levels (including executives).

    + Experience driving results across cross-functional teams.
