    About the "Department"

    • Montrose Regional Health Human Resources focuses on actively advancing and improving our workforce with the long-term goal of improving the entire facility.

    About The Career:

    • The Occupational Health Nurse i mplements and monitors Employee Health policies and procedures. Promotes personal and occupational health for Hospital employees, volunteers, providers, vendors and contractors. Manages screenings and immunization programs in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Serves as the Workers Compensation and Return-to-Work Coordinator for on-the-job injuries and illnesses within established policies. Works closely with department managers/directors, Infection Preventionist, Environment of Care, Medical Staff Services and the Infection Control Committee. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing employee programs such as safe work practices and accident prevention.

    All About You :

    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, with a current Colorado RN license.

    • BSN or a BS in the Healthcare Field preferred,

    • A minimum of 3 years work experience in direct patient care.

    • Proficient writing and communication skills.

    • AHA BLS required on hire.

    • Must participate in on-going education and training via national/state organization webinars (CDC, APIC, CHA)

    • Workers Compensation Experience Preferred
