Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a qualified Director of Business Development working onsite in Aberdeen, SD to help grow customer base and expand reach. This role focuses on building relationships, developing new business, and taking full ownership of customer accounts to support both growth and long-term success.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and grow a book of business within our freight brokerage
• Identify and pursue ongoing business development opportunities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your customer accounts
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure freight moves smoothly
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through consistent communication
• Meet established sales goals and performance objectives
• Monitor shipments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve customer concerns as they arise
• Track sales activity, customer pipelines, and account performance
Compensation: $55-60k base + Commission
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
