**Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)** has an exciting opportunity for an **Associate** **Quality Engineer** to join our team in Mascoutah, IL!
As an individual contributor, you will set and achieve objectives within your area of responsibility, leveraging Quality policies, practices, and procedures to influence process and planning decisions. Your role will ensure that the quality of products and processes complies with internal and customer standards and is continuously improving. This position is located in **Mascoutah, IL** and will require additional travel and time spent in **Berkeley, MO.**
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study:
+ Engineering
+ Computer Science
+ Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology)
+ Mathematics
+ Physics
+ Chemistry
Position Responsibilities:
+ Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
+ Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
+ Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
+ Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
+ Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
+ Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
+ Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
+ Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** **An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
+ Experience using computer applications, with a working knowledge of software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Previous experience working in the aerospace industry
+ 1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
+ 1+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing
+ 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
Travel:
This position may require up to 50% travel domestically to Berkeley, MO

Summary pay range: USD
Mascoutah, IL - $69,700 - $94,300
