Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: The Medicaid Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the enrollment and ongoing eligibility of participants in the CarePartners PACE program. This position serves as a key liaison among potential and current participants, their families, local Department of Social Services (DSS), and internal care teams. The Medicaid Specialist ensures timely and accurate processing of initial Medicaid applications and annual recertifications, contributing to a seamless participant experience and regulatory compliance.

What qualifications you will need:

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience with Medicaid applications and eligibility processes, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting. Experience working with the frail elderly population.

Required:

Valid NC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. None. Minimum 2 years of experience with Medicaid applications and eligibility processes, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting. Experience working with the frail elderly population.

+ (DL) Driver License

+ Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
