What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned government location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Carry a firearm in accordance with applicable laws and site-specific requirements, maintaining readiness to respond to potential threats.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required in the event of incidents or emergencies at the location.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as directed by Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
