As a **Security Officer - Armed Tech/Media Patrol** in **Manassas, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service while patrolling a dynamic technology-focused location. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media facility, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or potential threats within the location.

+ Support access control by verifying credentials and/or identifying individuals entering restricted areas.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal management as required.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with company and client policies.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
