    As a **Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist** in **Clayton, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

    + Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

    + Assist with access control procedures for personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site protocols.

    + Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities as needed.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

    + Access control and badge experience is preferred.

    + Loss prevention experience is preferred.

    + Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

    + Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
