As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrols** in **Lynwood, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a positive experience for everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual circumstances.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the commercial real estate location to report suspicious behavior and/or potential hazards.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Collaborate with property management and emergency personnel as needed to address issues and support a secure environment.

+ Maintain visibility throughout the location to assist with customer inquiries and provide a reassuring presence.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
