As a **Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Full-Time** in **White Plains, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people on site, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the utility location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and/or drills as directed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
