As a **Airport** **Security Professional** in **Lihue, HI** , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon/Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour** **with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee

Day** **Time

Mon02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements:

+ **Valid Driver's License (+1 years)**

+ **21+ years of age**

+ **Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening**

+ **Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office**

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.

+ Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required.

+ Assist visitors and personnel with directions and general information about the location as needed.

+ Remain alert to security-related risks and provide a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ CPR and or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
