    As a **Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol** in **Ville Platte, LA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel, and provide excellent customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the site.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

    + Monitor for any unusual activity or hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, reporting concerns promptly.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

    + Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors, providing assistance as needed while upholding site protocols.

    + Support Allied Universal and client management by reporting security-related concerns and following up on assignments as directed.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
