    Amazon internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as class or other employment during the Amazon workday.

Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios is seeking dynamic and self-motivated MBA interns to work hard, have fun and make history with us this summer.

    Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios are seeking MBA interns across four specializations:

    1. Strategic Initiatives

    2. Tech Business Developer

    3. Global Brand

    4. Content Strategy

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE: While candidates will be considered for multiple specializations at point of application to this requisition, they will only be shortlisted for one final position after review. Candidates will be evaluated for all specializations based on their most recently submitted resume and placed by the recruiting team.

     

    Strategic Initiatives Intern: We're seeking an MBA intern with film/tv industry experience to report to the Head of Animation – AI Studios. This unique role combines deep dive analytical thinking, content expertise, and emerging technology to define how AI systems understand and improve content pipelines today.

     

    Tech Business Developer Intern: Prime Video Subscriptions allows customers to subscribe to streaming services like HBO Max, Paramount+, Peacock, Apple TV, FOX One, STARZ, and 100+ more. Our Business Development team collaborates with external partners and cross-functional Amazon teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Finance) to innovate programs that deliver value for customers. We are seeking an intern to help scale partner engagement with key strategic and marketing programs. This individual will align internal teams to requirements and expectations for growth, and influence our programming partners through compelling data-driven narratives that scale across our service portfolio.

     

    Global Brand Intern: The Global Brand Marketing Intern at Prime Video offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's leading streaming services. Working within the Global Brand Team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in global brand management that spans brand strategy, operations, and governance, providing comprehensive exposure to brand marketing practices. Key responsibilities include managing brand governance workflows, analyzing ticketing data & trends, supporting quarterly guideline updates, and maintaining the Prime Video global brand portal. The intern will also contribute to brand activation strategies and AI integration initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across markets.

     

    TV Content Strategy Intern (Yang Yang Memorial Internship): The TV Content Strategy team is responsible for guiding Prime Video’s content selection plans, including management of the global Originals greenlight process. The team works closely with senior leaders across creative development, content acquisition, finance, business affairs, marketing and production, and has a high degree of visibility within the organization. The MBA Strategy Intern will be assigned a summer project where there is a clear end-of-summer deliverable (an dive-deep analysis, accompanied by a document and/or presentation).

    Key job responsibilities

    Strategic Initiatives Intern Key Responsibilities: The intern will develop frameworks for evaluating AI's understanding of narrative content, analyze classification systems, and collaborate with technical teams to define meaningful content characteristics for AI training. Additional responsibilities include creating strategic recommendations for AI-content interaction models, supporting special projects, defining performance metrics, and documenting best practices. This position offers direct contribution to AI Studios growth, influence on future content-AI interaction frameworks, development of scalable solutions for content understanding, and a key role in defining industry standards for AI-content engagement.

    Tech Business Developer Key Responsibilities:

    - Analyze partner and business performance to create partner-facing strategy presentations featuring data-driven recommendations, actionable insights and growth opportunities

     

    - Develop and execute project plans, collaborating with internal teams across all functional areas within Prime Video (e.g., marketing, product, finance, operations, etc.) to deepen partnerships and drive participation in Subscriptions programs

     

    - Learn and be curious about customer and partner needs (both existing and potential), using that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of Prime Video features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled streaming experience

     

    - Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments

     

    Global Brand Intern Key responsibilities: This position will support & flex responsibilities across the different areas of our team: Brand Strategy, Operations, and Governance to gain a depth of exposure. Areas of focus and exposure will include: brand guideline development, governance management, AI integration, project oversight, brand strategy, creative expression, and inspection.

     

    - Support advanced brand governance initiatives with focus on AI integration and emerging technologies

     

    - Maintain and optimize the Prime Video global brand portal operations, including content management and user experience improvements

     

    - Monitor and manage brand governance workflows, ensuring efficient processing and resolution of brand-related requests

     

    - Conduct comprehensive analysis of governance data and prepare detailed audit reports with actionable insights and recommendations

     

    - Support the development and implementation of quarterly brand guideline updates, including documentation and communication strategies

     

    - Conduct research and analysis on product taxonomy systems to improve brand classification

     

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across various platforms and countries

     

    - Contribute to the development of brand activation strategies and solutions

     

    - Participate in the planning and execution of brand training sessions and/or corporate summit events

    TV Content Strategy Intern Key Responsibilities:

    - Identify deep, actionable insights into the content preferences, behavior and needs of our customers, globally

     

    - Perform extensive competitive analysis and benchmarking, and identify and report on market trends

     

    - Forecast and monitor content performance, track progress, and understand sources of variance

     

    - Author business-driving documents that surface key learnings and provide recommendations for our go-forward content offering

     

    - Formulate Original series greenlight and renewal assessments, including content valuation and portfolio analysis

    Basic Qualifications

    - Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship

     

    - Currently enrolled in MBA program with graduation between December 2026 – June 2027

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Excellent communication skills

     

    - Strong ability to synthesize findings and articulate clear recommendations

    - Previous internship/work experience in relevant fields

    - Strategic Initiatives: Prior work experience in content development, production, or distribution, Background in technology, product management, or consulting. Experience with machine learning or AI projects, Understanding of content metadata and taxonomies, Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and their impact on media

     

    - Tech Business Developer: Experience in financial analysis, data visualization, operational improvements, budget management, and applying research to business settings

     

    - Global Brand: Experience in marketing strategy, project management, creative or operational management, interest in entertainment industry trends and streaming platforms, Figma

     

    - TV Content Strategy: Previous experience at a studio

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,968/year in our lowest geographic market up to $82,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
