    Amazon internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as class or other employment during the Amazon workday.

Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios is seeking dynamic and self-motivated interns to work hard, have fun and make history with us this summer.

    Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios are seeking Marketing interns across three specializations:

    1. Consumer Insights, Film

    2. Brand Social Media

    3. Social & Influencer Marketing

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE: While candidates will be considered for multiple specializations at point of application to this requisition, they will only be shortlisted for one final position after review. Candidates will be evaluated for all specializations based on their most recently submitted resume and placed by the recruiting team.

     

    Consumer Insights: Support the department coordinator and interact across streaming, theatrical, and international film research. The Consumer Insights Global Film team brings the customer voice to content and marketing decisions across Prime Video and MGM Studios. We deliver deep customer insight to creative teams to promote compelling stories, characters and worlds. We advocate for audiences and for our storytellers by evaluating movies and marketing strategies that resonate with audiences worldwide. This position combines a structured assignment (audience screening methodology analysis) with the freedom to identify and pursue research endeavors independently, culminating in a presentation to the Head of Consumer Insights, Global Film. The role primarily focuses on desk research, independent research studies, operational organization, and administrative processes.

     

    Brand Social Media: The Prime Video Brand Social Team sits at the intersection of entertainment and digital culture, driving conversations and engagement around our content across all major social platforms. Our team is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that build brand awareness, drive viewer engagement, and create meaningful connections with our global audience. As an intern on our team, you'll be immersed in all aspects of social media management, from content creation to community engagement and analytics. You'll work alongside experienced social media professionals who will mentor you in best practices while encouraging your creative input. This role offers hands-on experience in managing social media for a major entertainment brand, providing valuable insights into content strategy, audience engagement, and digital marketing. The position requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills, making it ideal for someone looking to build a career in social media marketing.

     

    Social & Influencer Marketing: The Social & Influencer Marketing Intern will support digital marketing efforts across several major 2026 YA launches, inclusive of both films and series. The role contributes to fan engagement through social content ideation, day-to-day execution, and influencer program support. Throughout the internship, the individual will collaborate with teams across Creative, Publicity, Brand, Media, and more to gain exposure to how entertainment campaigns are built for both series and movies. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, passionate about YA storytelling, and fluent in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and creator culture. This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, meaningful exposure to high-profile launches, and the opportunity to help deliver impactful social and influencer moments for Amazon MGM Studios.

    Basic Qualifications

    - Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship

     

    - Expected graduation conferral date between December 2026 – June 2028

    - Currently enrolled in bachelor’s (or above) degree program in:

    - Consumer Insights – Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Film Studies, or related fields

     

    - Brand Social Media and Social & Influencer Marketing – Film & Television Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, Audio Engineering, Visual Arts, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Consumer Insights: Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies, Strong Excel skills, Experience with comparative analysis and report writing, Knowledge of entertainment industry trends, Experience with organizational and process management tools

     

    - Brand Social Media: Prior experience in scripted, unscripted or film production is preferred, such as working as a Production Assistant, participating in student film projects, or leading student productions or campus organizations. Experience or knowledge in organizational and process management tools.

     

    - Social & Influencer Marketing: Previous internship or campus experience in entertainment, digital marketing, social media, or influencer programs, A passion for YA storytelling, pop culture, and the evolving creator landscape, Strong familiarity with social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Snapchat, etc., Familiarity with marketing presentation tools like PowerPoint or Canva, A collaborative, curious, proactive mindset.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,529/year in our lowest geographic market up to $49,535/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
