Warehouse Associate

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our logistics operations team. In this role, you’ll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go. You will be responsible for the physical movement of specialized freight—including vehicle tires, filters, and cabinets—while using technology to ensure every item is processed with precision.
+ Location: Onsite in Charlotte, NC
+ Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour
+ Shift: Saturday – Wednesday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Weekend availability required)
Responsibilities:
+ Perform manual lifting, sorting, and moving of vehicle tires, filters, and cabinets (must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 lbs).
+ Assist with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders for processing.
+ Use RF Scanners to receive, move, and process items accurately; participate in inventory counts and product assembly as needed.
+ Read work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine specific items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
+ Conduct "check calls" with drivers to verify ETAs and validate load data for accounting purposes prior to marking loads as delivered.
+ Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition.
+ Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for employees and customers; strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
+ Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry, specifically with loading and unloading trailers.
+ Experience using handheld RF scanners and basic computer skills.
+ Basic written and verbal communication skills for reporting and driver interaction.
+ Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
+ The ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
+ Availability to work the designated Saturday–Wednesday shift, including weekends.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
