    Job Title: Construction Laborer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a construction laborer to join our team and assist in moving materials for the solar installers, picking up trash behind the install team, and providing overall project support. The project is located on the rooftop of a manufacturing facility, requiring comfort with working at height on a flat surface.

    Responsibilities

    + Move material for the solar installers.

    + Pick up and dispose of trash behind the install team.

    + Provide overall support on the project.

    + Ensure safety and efficiency while working at height.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical skills.

    + Experience with general labor and construction labor tasks.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

    + Ability to handle loading tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of construction experience.

    + Experience in solar projects is a plus.

    + Rooftop experience is beneficial.

    + Ability to lift 30 pounds.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on a 6 MW rooftop solar project, with hours from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, including some Saturdays. Expect to work 45-50 hours a week. The scope involves mechanical installations, and employees are required to wear work clothing on site. Please note, no per diem is provided.

    This is a Contract position based out of Chester, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
