Description
They will distributed work on a schedule, the supervisor is going to assign work associated to the schedule ad abilities to accomplish the set up and the complexities associated with the projects. they will machine high temp, stainless steel all the way to high temp exotic metals
The primary function of this position is to set-up, verify, and operate CNC lathes to machine complex parts to customer requirements.
Set-up of CNC lathes including calibration of cutting tools and location of work offsets for part production.
Verification of CNC programs and, when required, operation of lathes.
Completion of all applicable paperwork (working to ISO 9000 standards).
Performance of dimensional and visual inspections for first piece and in-process manufacturing.
Will be working on a DMG/Mori, Model NLX2500, NL or NLX
Working on FANUC base control, CELOS X interface
Will do about 2 set ups a day on average
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of true position tolerancing and Cartesian coordinate systems.
Requires frequent bending, reaching and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Capable of holding tight tolerances, up to .0002
Certification to NIMS is preferred, national institute of metal working skills credentials
Technical school or CNC apprenticeship preferred
If someone has experience with exotic metals that is a preferred candidate
Experience in an AS9100
Experience Level

Shift:
3 openings, 2nd Shift (1:45pm - 10:15pm), Monday to Friday
Initial orientation and QMS training will be on the first shift for 2-4 weeks

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
