Job Title: Pipefitter

**Location:** Buffalo, NY

**Pay:** $25-35/hr

**Shift:** 1st shift, 7am - 3pm

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a **Pipefitter** with experience in industrial piping and plastic fittings to join our fabrication team. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to the success of our custom-engineered systems. Plumbing experience welcome!

What You’ll Do

+ Assemble, install, and maintain complex piping systems (cutting, threading, welding)

+ Work with plastic and specialty materials for high-performance applications

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

+ Ensure all work meets safety standards and engineering specifications

+ Conduct inspections and pressure tests to verify system integrity

+ Collaborate with engineers and project leads to resolve challenges

+ Support and mentor junior team members

What You Bring

+ Proven experience as a pipefitter in industrial or custom fabrication settings

+ Strong knowledge of piping techniques, especially plastic fittings

+ Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

+ Attention to detail and pride in quality work

+ Familiarity with PPE and safety protocols

+ Physical ability to handle heavy materials and tools

+ High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification a plus

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial shop that’s currently not temperature controlled — cooler in winter, warmer in summer. We’re actively investing in upgrades to transition to a climate-controlled facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
