Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Description
The Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist ensures cosmetic and personal care raw materials meet U.S. and international regulations, including FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, REACH, and Prop 65. This role manages regulatory documentation, monitors ingredient compliance changes, and supports cross-functional teams with global regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure compliance of cosmetic and personal care raw materials with U.S. and international regulations.
+ Manage and maintain regulatory documentation.
+ Monitor changes in ingredient compliance.
+ Support cross-functional teams with global regulatory requirements.
+ Respond to inquiries and coordinate with suppliers regarding compliance issues.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert for ingredient-level compliance.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in a science background.
+ 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs in cosmetics, personal care, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing
+ Experience in compliance with raw materials.
+ Knowledge of U.S. FDA (CFR 21) regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs in cosmetics, personal care, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing.
+ Knowledge of EU Cosmetics Regulation, REACH, and international compliance standards.
+ Ability to communicate and collaborate across departments.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, office-based role from 8am-5pm. The environment is fast-paced and detail-oriented, focused on regulatory compliance and global standards. The individual will lead two other specialists in this department. Eligible for 24 hours of California sick pay after 90 days of employment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
