    Description

    + Responsible to perform laboratory testing assigned to the department.

    + Maintain knowledge of all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required to perform effectively.

    + Maintain excellent communication with the Department and other Laboratory Services personnel.

    + Competently perform all assigned departmental duties. May perform Pre-Analytical tasks (receipt, qualification, and preparation of samples for testing), CLIA waived tests, and moderate and/or high complexity testing on patient, donors, or biologic products using routine chemistries utilizing automated / semi-automated methods with internal support systems.

    + Recognize and report unusual test results in a timely manner to appropriate management.

    + Operate equipment utilizing established protocols and within quality control limits.

    + Recognize equipment malfunctions and/or technical problems and take appropriate steps to resolve.

    + Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Prepare and maintain reports/records and perform computer data entry.

    + Maintain departmental supplies within established inventory levels.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Requires BS degree in Life Science discipline

     

    0-1 years of laboratory experience within academic or industry

    This is a Contract position based out of Norcross, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
