    Summary:

    Operates, inspects, maintains all boiler, heating, steam hot water, ventilating, water treatment equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems of the hospital and its complex.

    Responsibilities:

    EDUCATION

    + High school diploma or trade school graduate or equivalent education.

    + Valid NYS drivers license

    + 1st Class Stationary Engineers license

    EXPERIENCE

    + Three (3) year power house

    + Three (3) year refrigeration and air conditioning

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

    + Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule forms or blueprints.

    ENVIRONMENT

    + Frequent exposure to many disagreeable physical conditions.

    + Occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
