    Robert Half is seeking an Executive IT Support Engineer (Tier 2–3) to support a large enterprise logistics organization based onsite at the client’s headquarters. This role is a 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity with strong intent to convert and plays a critical role delivering a high-touch, white-glove support experience.

     

    This position requires a technically strong desktop/support professional who is comfortable troubleshooting complex issues live in front of executives.

    Job Details

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (core hours)

    + Duration: 90-day contract with strong intent to convert

    + Location: 100% onsite (5 days/week)

    + Attire: Business casual (collared shirt required)

    Job Responsibilities

    + Serve as the primary white-glove executive IT support resource at headquarters

    + Provide direct, high-touch technical support to senior executives and leadership

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop and endpoint issues end-to-end

    + Diagnose issues across endpoint, identity, and network layers

    + Support Windows and macOS executive devices in an enterprise environment

    + Manage the full device lifecycle, including imaging, building, provisioning, shipping, and deployment

    + Troubleshoot identity and access issues within Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including MFA

    + Isolate and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (wired, wireless, VPN, DNS)

    + Handle escalations with professionalism, confidence, and clear communication

    + Act as the first and last impression of IT, representing the department with polish and credibility

    + Support a growing and evolving enterprise environment when not actively assisting executives

    Requirements

    Technical

     

    + 5+ years of enterprise-level IT support experience

    + Tier 2 minimum support capability (Tier 3 strongly preferred)

    + Proven experience working outside of a Tier 1, call-center environment

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across:

    + Windows 10/11

    + Light macOS support

    + Endpoint hardware (Microsoft & Dell devices)

    + Printers and peripherals

    + Mobile devices (Android & Apple)

     

    Identity, Access & Cloud

     

    + Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID):

    + User and group management

    + Azure AD / Hybrid device joins

    + MFA and authentication troubleshooting

    + Strong ability to distinguish identity vs device vs network issues

     

    Networking

     

    + Foundational networking troubleshooting experience:

    + Wired and wireless connectivity

    + VPN issues

    + DNS-related failures

    + Ability to confidently determine when an issue is endpoint-based, network-based, or identity-based

     

    Executive White-Glove Support

     

    + Proven experience supporting executives or senior leadership

    + Comfortable troubleshooting live in front of executives

    + Polished, confident communication style

    + Able to explain technical issues clearly without losing executive confidence

    + Understands executive support as both technical delivery and relationship management

     

    Nice-to-Have

     

    + Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

    + Automation or process-improvement mindset

    + Interest in long-term growth toward engineering or advanced technical roles

    + Able to project confidence even when diagnosing unknown issues
