Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our client's team on a contract basis in Portland, Oregon. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle administrative tasks, support invoicing processes, and assist with inventory management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of their work.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and verify data for accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with inventory tracking and maintain organized records.

• Communicate with landlords to update information and send documents as required.

• Coordinate with utility companies to set up and manage services.

• Receive and sort mail, as well as assist with delivering outgoing mail.

• Provide a welcoming environment for guests and visitors.

• Use Microsoft Excel to create and update spreadsheets and reports.

• Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and scheduling.

• Handle ad hoc assignments and ensure timely completion of all tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate-level spreadsheet skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to double-check work for accuracy.

• Experience in invoice processing and administrative support.

• Familiarity with Outlook for email communication and scheduling.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and mail tasks.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes up to 25 lbs.

• Strong communication skills to interact with landlords, utility companies, and visitors.

• Capability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.
