    Job Description

    Serves as an Inventory Liaison between end-user departments and product vendors. Coordinates receipt, distribution, collection, and return of products for the hospital.

    Job Responsibility

    + * Coordinates the receipt, distribution, collection, and return of products for hospital departments.

    + Monitors real-time inventory levels and advises end-user areas and Supervisor regarding readiness and/or issues.

    + Monitors real-time turnaround times to ensure/optimize day-of-need inventory levels.

    + Communicates and coordinates with end-users, vendor team and Supervisor to facilitate timely product delivery and reliability.

    + Evaluates quality and quantity of delivered products.

    + Ensures products are transported to assigned hospital locations and stored properly relative to product requirements and fire/safety regulations.

    + Facilitates product processing for return to vendor. Identifies, flags and tracks pruducts/instruments in need of repair/replacement. Ensures related documentation is completed.

    + Participates-in implementing Quality Control/Performance Improvement related practices.

    + Performs related duties, as required.

    *ADA Essential Functions

    Job Qualification

    + High School Diploma or equivalent, required. College or additional formal education in inventory coordination and cutomer services, preferred. Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible inventory coordination and customer service experience, required. Operating Room (OR) experience, preferred.

    + Demonstrated problem identification, resolution and analytical skills, required.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, required.

    The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

     

    The salary range for this position is $27.3605-$29.3621/hour
