Parking Lot Attendant (75% Travel)

The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the motor pool, parking area, ensuring security compliance, and assisting with vehicle flow and parking operations.
Responsibilities
+ Work involves the following: operating daily activity in a parking lot and checking vehicles in and out of lot.
+ This worker may be required to move and/or park vehicles.
+ The Parking Lot Attendant controls authorized entry and use of motor pool, refers parking related problems arising within the facility to appropriate authorities for administrative action.
+ Daily security checks of motor pool and parking lot areas.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Prior experience in security, parking operations, or facility access control preferred.
+ Military or government facility experience is a plus.
+ Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with personnel and visitors.
+ Basic computer skills for logging entries and maintaining records.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
+ Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs if needed.
Certifications:
+ Valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance
+ Ability to obtain base access credentials and pass background checks.
Other Requirements:
+ U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work on military installations.
+ Must adhere to all Department of Defense (DoD) and installation security protocols.
+ Must have a Real ID
Preferred Qualifications
+ Familiarity with military motor pool operations.
+ Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures and safety standards.
+ CPR/First Aid certification.
