Job Description
The Administrative Manager plans, directs and oversees administrative operations and human resources needs. The Administrative Manager will manage team governance, organize team calendars, and ensure teams files and records are organized and easily accessible. This position may assist leadership to manage and oversee budgets. The Administrative Manager will assist leadership with their schedules, expense reports and ensure all supplies and resources are available to the team to ensure success. Overall, this role will support the broader team to ensure the team is functioning at peak efficiency and supporting broad team culture.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred
+ Minimum of seven years of professional experience in administrative or management capacity
+ Experience in a fast paced, corporate environment
+ Expertise in using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
+ Strong communication and presentation skills
+ Self-motivated team player
+ Passion for health care as evidenced by academic or personal pursuits and professional experience
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $78,884.00 - $118,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
Non-Bargaining Unit, M1V - MSS Specialty Care Direct - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital
Responsibilities
1. Manages and coordinates clerical and administrative activities
2. Analyzes internal processes and plans or implements procedural and policy changes to improve team operations
3. Leads team governance, including managing team agendas, contract and pricing maintenance, and provider rosters
4. Assists in the planning of budgetary needs by analyzing short and long-term program plans.Collaborates with team leadership to assure the completion of the annual budget submission and subsequent monitoring of financial status of the team
5. Works with Human Resources to administer personnel policies such as hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals, training, staff disciplinary activity, and salary recommendations.
6. Facilitates creation and identification of training programs, continuing education and other professional development needs for the team
7. Orders and maintains team supplies and equipment
8. Manages and organizes team events and supports the building of team culture
9. Supports the building and maintenance of templates, presentations, contract templates and other functions that support sales, product or operations
10. Performs other related duties
