Job Description

We are seeking Security System Technicians to pre-wire and install security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarms. Technicians will collaborate with other techs and Project Managers to complete and file all project documentation accurately. Work will involve a variety of commercial installations such as hospitals, airports, and corporate offices.

Responsibilities:

+ Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security systems at customer sites.

+ Installation includes (but is not limited to):

+ Video Surveillance systems (IP and Analog cameras, wireless)

+ Access Control panels

+ Intrusion Panels

+ Magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, electric door strikes

+ Complete assigned projects within scope, on time, and on budget.

+ Provide customers with system operation and training.

+ Maintain detailed daily records and adhere to operational standards.

+ Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for scheduling.

PPE Requirements

Before starting, technicians must have:

+ Hard hat with chin straps (cost ranges $20–$200)

+ Safety glasses

+ Steel-toed shoes

+ Safety vest

Physical Demands

+ Regular standing, climbing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and stooping.

+ Frequent use of hands for handling tools and typing.

+ Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.

+ Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

+ Use of power tools required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claude, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
