Physical Therapist (Part-Time – Early Childhood)
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:20 AM–3:30 PM
Contract Duration: Start ASAP through May 2026
Setting: Early Childhood
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our early childhood educational setting. In this role, you will conduct student evaluations and provide high-quality, individualized therapy services in alignment with each student’s plan of care and applicable physician orders. This is a meaningful opportunity to support young learners in developing essential motor skills that set the foundation for lifelong success.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform Physical Therapy evaluations for early childhood students.
+ Deliver and document therapy services according to each student’s plan of care.
+ Provide PT interventions in alignment with professional standards and regulations.
+ Collaborate with school teams as needed to support student progress.
+ Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
Caseload
+ Early childhood population
+ Specific caseload details will be provided upon assignment
+ Services will consist of PT therapy sessions
+ No classroom-support personnel (paras, BTs, nurses) required
Minimum Requirements
+ Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
+ One (1) year of prior PT experience preferred
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
+ CPR certification, if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state requirements)
+ Must meet all professional standards of practice
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Testing/Assessment
+ PT-specific evaluations as required
