    **Salary:** $50,000-$60,000/annually

    Are you a detail-driven events professional who thrives on creating unforgettable guest experiences? We’re seeking an exceptional **Catering Coordinator** to lead the planning and execution of high-quality on- and off-premise events in the San Antonio area. This role is perfect for someone who blends operational excellence with creativity, client confidence, and a passion for hospitality.

     

    As the Catering Coordinator, you’ll serve as the connective force between clients, culinary teams, vendors, and event staff—ensuring every event is flawlessly executed, on brand, and within budget. You’ll own the details, elevate the experience, and play a key role in growing a strong, entrepreneurial catering program.

    What You’ll Do

    + Partner with clients to define event vision, scope, menus, ambiance, and entertainment—delivering exceptional experiences aligned with budget and expectations

    + Collaborate with chefs to design customized menus that showcase quality, creativity, and seasonality

    + Negotiate and manage vendor and rental contracts to maximize value and service quality

    + Lead and support Event Managers to ensure seamless execution from planning through post-event review

    + Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a high-performing catering team

    + Oversee staffing plans, event timelines, and logistics to support multiple events simultaneously

    + Maintain accurate financial, administrative, and operational records, including budgets and forecasts

    + Serve as the central liaison between Sales, Culinary, Operations, Staffing, Vendors, and Clients

    + Review contracts and event requirements to ensure all deliverables are met or exceeded

    + Conduct post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement in quality, service, and performance

    Job Summary

    What You Bring

    + 3–5 years of experience in hospitality or catering management (off-premise experience strongly preferred)

    + Proven leadership and the ability to inspire, organize, and develop teams

    + Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor management, P&L, and sales forecasting

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients, senior leaders, and culinary partners

    + Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

    + Strong negotiation skills and sound judgment when problem-solving under pressure

    + Confidence working independently with minimal supervision

    + A service-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing a successful catering business
