**Purpose: The Manager, Global Competitive Intelligence and Analytics, Immunology** will support and report to the Director of Global Commercial Insights and Analytics, Immunology. The role will specifically focus on Psoriatic disease. Primary responsibilities include the gathering and synthesis of key competitive insights, covering disease-specific conferences in person or in partnership with 3rd party vendors to collect and track competitive activity, developing perspective of the threat level of the competitive landscape, and driving alignment within the team of the competitor activity implications. This role will also include leading special research and analytics projects, as needed.

The Manager of Competitive Intelligence and Analytics will have an understanding of the industry and key competitors, the therapeutic area, the patient journey, and an ability to communicate and adequately represent learnings across teams. The person selected for this role can expect to work on projects across disease areas (e.g., Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Other Psoriatic/Rheumatology indications), that broadly impact the portfolio strategy and its growth potential.
Responsibilities include:
+ Monitoring, collaborating and communicating cross-functionally competitive intelligence to compound development teams, functions and regions
+ Present insights and research findings to a broad, cross-functional audience, including leadership
+ Act as an expert regarding competitive landscape and competitor differentiators across therapeutic areas
+ Manage contractor and drive scope to ensure comprehensive monitoring of medical meetings, earnings calls and press releases
+ Objectively translate market needs and requirements into actionable recommendations and tactics that ensure commercial preparation, including go-to-market strategies and pre-launch planning
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
+ A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
+ A minimum of 5 years' experience in the healthcare industry with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry with an advanced degree is required
+ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
+ Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, and effectively lead external partners is required.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
+ Curiosity and growth mindset to learn and build/improve skills
Preferred:
+ Background in biology, data sciences, finance, science, pharmacy, preferred
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
+ Primary and secondary market research experience is highly preferred.
Other:
+ Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required.
