Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced tax preparers for a local accounting firm to assist during the busy tax season.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare federal and state tax returns (individual and/or business)
+ Review tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, etc.)
+ Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
+ Communicate with clients as needed
+ Use tax preparation software efficiently
Qualifications
+ Prior tax preparation experience required
+ Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
+ Experience with tax software (Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar)
+ Strong attention to detail and deadline management
+ PTIN required; EA or CPA a plus
