    Description:

    Position Purpose:

    At **Mercy Medical Center** , the Operating Room RN delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients.

    What You Will Do:

    + Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique.

    + Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required

    + Valid RN license in Massachusetts

    Preferred:

    + Bachelor’s in Nursing

    + Ideal candidates will have 1 or more years of **intraoperative nursing experience,** including circulating and scrub experience.

    + Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross)

    + Familiarity with AORN standards

    Position Highlights:

    + Full-Time: 40 hrs/week – Day Shift

    + Rotating weekends/holidays; on-call required

    + Hourly Union position, included in RN Step Program pay range: $41.27 to $67.06
