    Aspirus At Home in the Wausau, WI area is seeking a MUSIC THERAPIST to join our field team!

     

    The Music Therapist provides treatment services that are goal oriented and directed towards music therapy education services, and general music therapy services designed to meet the needs, capabilities, and interests of patients and their caregiver.

     

    In this role, you must be able to

     

    + Travel to patient/client homes to provide music therapy services

    + Cope with a work environment that deals with death, dying, and bereavement. Possesses skills necessary to be compassionate to those who are grief stricken and/or dealing with loss.

    + Effectively communicate in writing along with coordination skills.

     

    HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks working flexible day shift hours

    Experience/Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy

    + Possesses certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (BMT) required.
