BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Behavioral Health Center- SIPP !

Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:

+ **Facility:** Behavioral Health Center- SIPP

+ **Location:** New Port Richey, FL

+ **Status:** Pool, Hourly

+ **Shift Hours:** Varies- 8 hour shifts

+ **Weekend Work:** Every Other

+ **On Call:** No

Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse

+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

+ Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

+ Will be working with Child age population

Requirements:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ High School or Equivalent

+ FL Driver's License

+ Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

+ Preferred - CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience:

+ 6 months - Psychology based experience
