    Job Description

    We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. This role involves utilizing blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Apply blueprints and technical diagrams to execute electrical tasks accurately.

    + Use various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools.

    + Install or replace wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers, and other electrical devices.

    + Inspect and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses.

    + Adhere to state and local building regulations.

    + Complete work orders on time.

    + Document the work completed and materials used.

    + Collaborate with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and team members.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in the field as an Electrician.

    + Must have own set of hand tools. Power tools will be provided.

    + Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

    + Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and other electrical components.

    + Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems.

    + Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

    + Effective time management.

    + Strong work ethic.

    + Understanding of local and national codes, regulations, and safety procedures.

    + Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Generator Installation is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
