Job Title: Packer - 2nd Shift
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Crate Builder on the 2nd shift, where you will play a crucial role in assembling crates and stacking pallets for the energy industry. This position involves handling excess materials, distributing tools or products, and operating forklifts and cranes with proper certification.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble crates and stack pallets to hold for the energy industries
+ Carry and distribute excess materials, tools, and products as needed.
+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring tapes effectively.
+ Confirm inventory count and accuracy, and complete required paperwork.
+ Perform routine and minor maintenance on equipment.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
+ Assist with crate building and material packaging as required.
+ Perform related duties as needed by the Crating Manager.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
+ Attention to detail and ability to confirm inventory accuracy.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Experience driving at least one type of lift.
+ Forklift and crane operation with certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment and stand for the duration of the shift.
+ Comfortable working in varying temperatures on the receiving dock.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled distribution center supporting Siemens Energy, where the receiving dock can be cold in winter and hot in summer. The role requires standing for the duration of the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
