Description

Join a dynamic CPA firm for tax season! We are seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our accounting professionals and help ensure a smooth, efficient workflow during one of our busiest times of the year. This is a contract role January-April with potential for long term extension.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Greet clients and handle inbound calls with professionalism and confidentiality

+ Manage scheduling, appointments, and maintain calendars for accountants and managers

+ Assist with preparation, assembly, and filing of tax documents

+ Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems for sensitive financial records

+ Perform data entry, scan and upload documents, and generate correspondence as requested

+ Track incoming/outgoing client files and ensure all necessary information is collected and accessible

+ Support the team with special projects and assist with general office duties as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Prior experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an accounting or professional services environment

+ Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (scanner, copier, etc.)

+ Ability to handle confidential documents with professionalism

+ Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
