    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support furniture warranty services. This role involves coordinating with service technicians and customers, handling inbound and outbound calls, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

    + Handle inbound/outbound calls, complete forms, and determine claim status per guidelines.

    + Dispatch and schedule service requests for technicians; process work orders and documentation.

    + Build strong relationships with technicians and business partners.

    + Source and onboard new technicians; provide feedback and coaching.

    + Act as liaison for business-to-business accounts; meet service-level agreements.

    + Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on claims, and close cases accurately.

    + Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Must Have:

    + 6+ months of call center experience (inbound or outbound).

    + Strong data entry and order processing skills (20–30% of role).

    + Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and multitasking.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and remotely.

    + High-speed internet and ability to hardwire modem to company-provided phone.

    Nice to Have:

    + Experience in logistics, dispatching, or claims.

    + Associate degree.

    Disqualifiers:

    + Job tenure less than 1 year in each position.

    + Inability to work remotely.

    Training & Performance

    + Side-by-side training for 2–3 weeks with ongoing leadership support.

    + Performance measured by cases completed (goal: 60+ per day).

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.00/hr.
